Fantasy Football Robot is my attempt to predict which Fantasy Football players will score 6 points or more in a match using numerical quantities we can observe or proxy, like league position or ‘player form’. Which version of Fantasy Football am I talking about? The official Fantasy Premier League at http://fantasy.premierleague.com

Ultimately, the overall goal is to improve my fantasy team. In previous years, my teams have done fairly well (top 10%) but I reckon I should be able to do better using statistics.

Over coming weeks and months, I will talk more about the mechanics of predicting fantasy league players, e.g. model creation and variable selection. Each week I will release a new set of predictions for the coming weekend and also review the previous week’s predictions.
